Email from Vermont school friend to the artist at Sunnyside School:

Dear Friend at Sunnyside School,

I liked your painting of your friend and you with your babies. Are thoise dolls? You are very kind to them. Did you use watercolor for your painting? we are going to send some of our drawings to you. We didn't paint but we did some very kind things for special older people. You will see when you get our artwork.

Dear Friend in Vermont,

Thank you for your e-mail to us. Your artwork is very neat. I think you are artists because you have many colors and shapes. I think you have great details. We care about elder's families and friends. We have read many books about elders. We also care about animals. We had two kittens visit our classroom. One was named Smokey and the other was Cuddles. Our teacher brought her dog, Blue, to our classroom. There is a teacher in our school named Mrs. Curry. She has some physical problems, so she could not do some things. She was assigned a dog that would be trained for a service dog for her. Do you have wolves and grizzly bears were you live? If you want to learn more about our classroom caring, you can go to our website at: http://www.psd267.wednet.edu/~kfranz
You will find the Elders Project and other art work of ours.
