RONALD McDONALD HOUSE PROJECT

"Caring About Each Other"

In our classroom, we have been learning about how we can care for each other. When we care for each other, it makes the world a better place. It makes everyone feel happier and stronger inside.

Our primary multiage class and Mrs. Dahl's first grade class at Sunnyside School have done a caring project on Ronald McDonald Houses. We were inspired to do this project because a first grade teacher at our school stayed at the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) in Spokane, Washington when her newborn baby needed to be in the hospital. We wanted to learn more about Ronald McDonald Houses and see how we could help care for the families that stay there.

Click below on our links to see what we learned about math, reading, writing, geography, hospital care and quilts in our Ronald McDonald House Caring Project.
