Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Our class has been studying about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

He had a dream of people in the world living peacefully together.

Here are our dreams about ways to build a better world. the class made this list together.

1. Tell and ask people not to fight

2. Share your things with others.

3. Don't allow people to use guns to hurt other people.

4. Do not have unfair rules; have fair rules.

5. Make sure people know they are important.

6. Solve problems peacefully.

7. Start a clean-up where people help each other clean-up playgrounds, houses, neighborhoods, cities, states, countries, continents, the oceans, the world and the universe.

8. Bring people together.

We wrote essays about what Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. would notice if he were standing beside us. We also made watercolor paintings of ourselves standing next to him and imagined how special that would be!

If Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. were standing beside me,he would notice that I...am being nice to other people and play nicely.

 

If Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. were standing beside me,he would notice that I...am nice to other kids.

 

If Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. were standing beside me,he would notice that I...have lots of other friends because I am peaceful.
