Pond Trees and Shrubs

There are willow trees around the ponds and one willow tree on the pond island.

Here is a picture of one the willow tree on the island before the island was rebuilt.

Here is a picture of the willow tree on the island after the island was rebuilt and the tree was trimmed.

There is a red osier dogwood tree on the island.

Here is a picture of it when it is blooming in the Spring. It has lots of white flowers.

Here is a picture of the red osier dogwood in winter. You can see the red branches!

We want to plant a yellow osier dogwood on the rebuilt island. Osier dogwoods help help the soil from eroding so we think having another osier dogwood on the island will help keep the island from eroding again.
