Every year, on the 4th of July, the City of Pullman has a community celebration at Sunnyside Park where the ponds are. There is music, food to eat and great fireworks!!!

This year at the celebration, the Mayor of Pullman, Mr. Mitch Chandler, made a presentation to our class because the Pullman City Council voted to recognize our class for our efforts in restoring the pond island and water. He gave a plaque to our class from the Pullman City Council thanking us for our work!
