Chapter 2
Ironing The Patches Onto The Cloth

A classmate and our teacher are ironing one patch of our comfort quilt onto the white cloth. We took our fabric crayon drawing and used a hot iron to melt the crayon onto the fabric. We colored hard enough on the drawing paper so that some of the crayon wax comes off on the fabric but some of the crayon color stays on the paper. We are ironing at the globe map center in our classroom.
