Nine Patches

1. We have 9 patches so far.

2. We have 2 orcas, 2 grays, 4 humpbacks, 4 dolphins, and 1 fin whale so far.

3. We have a humpback whale on a bubblenet background.

4. We have a new patch in the 3rd row.

5. We have a square that is formed by four adjacent patches with 4 adjacent sides. The square also has 2 diagonal lines that are created by the 2nd patch in the 1st row. The background of the 1st diagonal is a bubblenet. The background of the second diagonal has fish on it. This diagonal is created by the 3rd patch in the 1st row and the 2nd patch in the second row.

6. We have a prediction that the next patch will be a fin because there are at least 2 of all the other whales so far.

7. We have a prediction that the next patch will be an orca because we will have at least 3 of each whale in our quilt.
