1. We have 20 patches in our quilt.
2. We have 40 small triangles in our quilt.
3. We have 24 big triangles .
4. We have 3 12-triangle hexagons. Inside the horizontal hexagon in the 3rd & 4th row, there is a windmill!
5. Inside the vertical hexagon that is in the 1st and 2nd patches of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th rows, there is a 8 triangle hexagon!
6. We have 7 parallelograms.
7. We have 3 flying geese. A flying geese has 4 small triangles which make 2 parallelograms. We made a "code" for the flying geese. The code is: f.g. = 4 s.t.
8. We have 4 windmills. A windmill has 8 small triangles or 4 big triangles. We made a code for this.
The code is : wnd. = 8 s.t. or wnd. = 4 b.t.
We also made an "code" to help you find the location of the 1st windmill.
The code is: 1st wnd. = (A patch + B patch in 1st row) + D (patch + C patch in 2nd row).
We made a code to help you find the 3rd windmill. The code is: 3rd wnd. = (2nd p. (A) + 3rd p. (B) in 3rd r.) + (2nd p. (C) + 3rd p. (D) in 4th r.
9. We have 24 big triangles.
10. We have a pattern of patches by rows that goes:
[A(1+2) B(3+4) A(1+2) B(4+3)]
[C(5+3) D(1+3) C(5+3) D(1+3)]
[B(4+3) A(1+2) B(3+4) A(2+1)]
[D(3+1) C(3+5) D(3+1) C(3+5)]
[A(1+2) B(3+4) A(2+1) E(4+3+6]
11. We have a chimalong song pattern of fabrics by rows that goes:
row 1 [1234 2143]
row 2 [5313 5313]
row 3 [4312 3421]
row 4 [3135 3135]
row 5 [1234 2143 6!]

12. We have:
10 of fabric #1
6 of fabric #2
14 of fabric #3
6 of fabric #4
4 of fabric #5 1 of fabric #6!
13. In our 3rd and 4th quilts together, we have:
90 small triangles
54 big triangles
17 parallelograms
7 big squares or diamonds
14. We have: 25 patches in our 1st quilt
30 patches in our 2nd quilt
25 patches in our 3rd quilt 20 patches in our 4th quilt.
We have 100 patches in all four quilts!
