5. Counting the number of wholes, halves, thirds and fourths all together there are 71 (big squares, rectangles, small squares and small! triangles)
You can count the shapes by ones (1,2,3,4, ….)
by columns (5+10+12+16+16+12) or by rows
(17+17+17+17+3)!
6. We have a prediction that the next patch will be purple and pink colors
