1. The 1st patch is one fabric. The 2nd patch is two fabrics and the 3rd patch is three fabrics.
2. The patches are huge!
3. We have 3 patches so far.
4. If you add up all the fabrics in all 3 patches so far, you will have 6 fabrics.
5. We have 5 rectangles. Two rectangles are in the 2nd patch and three rectangles are in the 3rd patch.
6. We have 1 shape in the 1 patch and 2 shapes in the 2 patch and 3 shapes in the 3 patch. We have a prediction that the next patch will be 4 fabrics and 4 shapes.
7. All the rectangles are vertical.
8. The 1st p. is whole. The 2nd p. is cut in vertical halves. The 3rd p. is in threes.
9. Each patch is 6 inches high and 6 inches wide. All 3 patches together make a rectangle that is 6 " high and 18" wide.
10. We have a pattern of fabrics by rows that goes:
|
1 |
2 3 |
4 5 6 |
11. We have a prediction that there will be 4 patches tomorrow and the 1st row will be a rectangle that is 6" high and 24" wide or 2' wide.
" = inches
' = feet
