We shared greetings for the year 2000 with friends
around the world!!!!!
We made a book for the year 2000 called Gift to the Earth!
Here is our book:
Gift to the
Earth By Mrs. Rennebohm
Franz's Class January
2000
1. SHARING
We would give the
Earth lots of people who appreciate one another and share
with each other. We would share
quilts with the Earth. We would share
trees, animals, birds, insects, oceans, lakes, rivers,
streams, ponds, air, and land with the Earth so the Earth
would always have them. We would share our money with the
Earth so people could get what they need.
2. SNOW We would share snow
with the Earth so there's lots of snow for kids to play with
and so the Earth will look nice in winter. We would give the
Earth more trees so that snow would have lots of places
where it could stay!
3. CARING We would share lots
of caring with the Earth so the Earth would be okay.
We would give the
Earth a gift of caring for clean land and water and
air.
4. LOVE We would give the
Earth love, lots of love, because it's nice to love
people!
5. STUFFED
ANIMALS We would give the
Earth lots of stuffed animals because it's nice to give
stuffed animals to others!
6. HOMES and
SHELTER We would give the
Earth lots of homes and shelter so that all the people would
have places to live and all the animals, birds, and insects
would have safe places too. We would give the Earth a gift
of sharing our homes.
7. SONGS We would share songs
with the Earth because it's nice to share songs and songs
make you happy and cheer people up!
8. SMILES We would give the
Earth lots and lots of smiles of
smiles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friends, Through
its history Mankind looks for and tries to find the answer
to the question: What is happiness? When we congratulate our
dearest and nearest we wish happiness. But what does it mean
for us? For our children it often means a good friend, a
present, weather, mark, film,computer games: For our
grandparents, mums and dads it means peace in the world,
health of nearest and dearest people, sun in the blue sky,
love, understanding, help, caring. I hope that New Millenium
will be peaceful and friendly for all people in the world.
All people on our planet dream about happy life, only for
every person it has different meaning . I would like all
people on EARTH be happy as they want to be happy. My
students and me, we congratulate people in the world with N
EW MILLENIUM !!!! Every
day, have Something to do Or somewhere to go Every day have
Someone to call Someone to see Someone to love But most
important Every day have Something to give to

vision of the3d Millenium I
don't know what the 3d Millenium will be like, but I think
that it must be A Millenium of something new, of course. I
think, it will be filled with different kinds of discoveries
and progress in different spheres of life. I wish, it were a
millenium when people understand things they do not
understand today. I wish, they knew that Earth is their only
home and if they don't care of it, they will not have the
possibility to exist. I hope people will learn to understand
that they are not the only ones on the Earth. I want to wish
to the next Millenium great sense and good remembrance for
not to make ancient mistakes. From, Sumina Helen 9A

can say what will be in the future.I hope that everything
will be well. In my mind there will be a lot of changes in
all parts of the world.The progress of the science will make
possible many things in medicine, in space engineering,
education, agriculture,metallurgy, animal husbandry: In the
future may be people will invent the synthetic heart or the
serum against AIDS, or may be people will discover the new
planet where other creatures live. There is much positive in
the development of our world, but as the result there are a
lot of ecological problems, human activities which can make
our environment unhealthy. I think that in the future people
should find out the ways of reducing air and water
pollution. In my mind we, people of our planet, should think
about the future and take care of our planet. From, Tiunova

Millenium:What does it prepare for us? Of course, new
questions and new answers; new tasks and new decisions. :The
writers of fantastic bookcan answer the question"What can we
expect from the future?'...Many things which were impossible
in previous centuries are real now and things which are in
our projects now we'll be natural tomorrow. But even in the
world of highly developed industry it is impossible to live
and to work without plain human qualities such as
friendship, kindness,l ove, honesty,humanity and so on..The
history of mankind shows that a lot of problems are the same
which the man tries to solve: relationship between parents
and their children, between people, attitudeto
nature,education,family..People always try to find the ways
to the stars, they are interested in problem of galaxies,
planets, .. And our life without mysteries,adventures,
discoveries will be really very dull andboring, I think The
future of our planet depends on people who live on it and it
seems to me we should work a lot and think about it. I dream
about good and friendly relationship between people. So many
wonderful things in surronding world and I would like to
wish people in the 3d Millenium to be noble,honest,friendly
and fair. I dream of becoming the history teacher and
educating the students,developing their talents. From, Kim

think that in future people will think more about our planet
and nature.The 21st century is the time of thinking about
our ecology. You know if we don't think about our future we
shall not have one.I hope that there won't be wars and it
will be much love.I hope all dreams will come true in NEW

think that in the 3d Millenium people will become cleverer.
May be they will finish fighting against each other and
between countries. Different religions will
thrive.Technologies will develop very quickly.Computer will
be in every house and every pupil will have a computer on
every desk. As people will be cleverer they will
understand,that sports should take much time in their life.
Everywhere and near every house there will be different
sports grounds or swimming pools. And the main care of the
people will be protecting of the environment.Theywill stop
cutting down trees but will plant thousands of trees and
flowers everywhere.I think that the profession of a gardener
will become more popular than now. Forests will be turned
into national parks. Naturally people will stop polluting
the atmosphere. The air will always be clean and fresh.
Generally,I envy the people of the 3d Millenium. From, Max
Konobeev 7A I do
not know what will be in the 3d millenium. Maybe people will
land on Mars or on some planet situated near Alpha Centauri.
Some times I look at the night sky and I think how many
stars, planets, galaxies are there! Maybe in the 3d
millenium people will research them. I think in our days one
of the main people's problem is: where shall we go when on
the earth there will not be some place to live. Maybe in the
third millenium people will live in the space, but maybe
they will live on the bottom of the oceans, or seas. Who
knows. Maybe... we don't know. We can only imagine what will
be in the third millenium. For us third millenium is the
time full of mystery. But I hope that in the 3d millenium
people will not destroy each other and all will be good.

think that the computers will be more powerful. And we shall
be able to change TV-programs through the human voice. The
audio-technic and video-technic will be more comfortable for
using. Most people will be richer and happier. I think that
cars willfly and streets will be full of driving and flying
cars. Houses will be higher. I hope people will know more
about the Universe and space. May be people will go to
another planets and perhaps to another Galaxies. They will
travel or even live on another planets. From, Klestorin Elia

is difficult for me to imagine the new life in the3d
Millenium. May be people will become kinder. In our country
and in the world will never be wars as in Chechnya and
people will not be killed by cruel people. I dream that in
the3d millenium our planet will be quite and people will
live happily, peacefully , without wars and other tragidies.
Sometimes I see very poor people in the streets and I think
how terrible life when you are poor. Is it possible to find
ways for creating the wonderful society without poor? From,

with whom we are working in 2000 New Year
Project! With
all our hearts we congratulate you with the New Year. These
holidays will be unusual this year. We'll meet New Year, New
Century and New Millenium. We
wish you good health, a lot of happiness and hope that our
life will became like in our fairy tales! Hope
